A captain's life in the Caribbean around 1680, turn-based and unhurried. No ads, no pay-to-win, no energy bars – just the wind, your reputation and the question of whose flag you fly.
Four crowns, one reputation
Spain, England, France and the Dutch wage shifting wars. With a letter of marque you take prizes lawfully and rise through the ranks – all the way to governor. Without one, you're a pirate.
Sea battles with wind
Turn-based on the water: your course to the wind, broadsides to port or starboard, rocks and escape. Small ships are nimble, big ones hit hard.
Swordfights on deck
Board an enemy and you duel their captain. Read his body language – but some captains feint.
Trade and ports
Seventeen historical ports with their own goods and prices. Raid enemy towns and hold them for your patron.
Treasure maps
Four map pieces from shady taverns lead to a chest on a lonely island.
A crew with opinions
Your men want half the plunder. Hold back and you'll face desertion and mutiny.

Introduction
After you start, a welcome sheet explains the goal and your first move; new features explain themselves the first time they appear. You'll find the sheet any time in the Logbook under “Introduction”.
Saved game
Your career is saved on your device after every step and, if iCloud is on, backed up to your iCloud – so it moves with you to a new iPhone.
Game Center
The “Best Career” leaderboard uses Apple's Game Center. Without signing in, the game works completely; your result is simply not reported.
Music and sound
Can be switched off in the Logbook. The iPhone's silent switch is respected.
Languages
English, German, French and Turkish – the game follows your iPhone's language.
